This page describes how Infieldr uses SMS messaging to communicate with customers.

1. SMS Program Description

Infieldr provides SMS notifications to customers of field service businesses using our platform. These messages help keep you informed about your service appointments and technician visits.

Types of messages you may receive:

  • Appointment Confirmations: Confirmation of your scheduled service appointment
  • Appointment Reminders: Reminders about upcoming service visits
  • Technician Dispatch: Notification when a technician has been assigned to your job
  • Technician En Route: Alert when your technician is on the way with estimated arrival time
  • Job Status Updates: Updates on the progress of your service
  • Invoice & Payment: Notifications about invoices and payment receipts
  • Customer Service: Responses to your inquiries and support messages

2. How You Opt-In (Consent)

You may opt-in to receive SMS notifications from Infieldr through the following methods:

Online Opt-In

When you book a service or create an account through our web application, you will see a consent checkbox:

Verbal Opt-In

When you call to schedule a service, our representative will ask: "May we send you text message updates about your appointment, including technician arrival notifications? Standard message and data rates may apply. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP."

Text-to-Join

You may also opt-in by texting START or YES to our phone number. You will receive a confirmation message with opt-out instructions.

Your consent is voluntary. You can complete your purchase or receive service without opting in to SMS notifications.

3. Message Frequency

Message frequency varies based on your service activity. Typically, you may receive:

  • 1-2 messages when you book an appointment
  • 1-2 reminder messages before your appointment
  • 1-3 messages on the day of service (technician dispatch, en route, completion)
  • 1 message for invoice/payment confirmation

On average, you may receive approximately 4-8 messages per service appointment. If you have multiple appointments, you will receive messages for each one.

4. Message and Data Rates

Message and data rates may apply. Infieldr does not charge for SMS messages, but your mobile carrier may charge you for sending and receiving text messages according to your mobile plan.

Contact your mobile carrier for details about your text messaging plan and any associated costs.

5. How to Opt-Out

You can stop receiving SMS messages at any time by using any of these methods:

Text STOP to Opt-Out

Reply STOP, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, or QUIT to any message you receive.

You will receive a confirmation: "You have been unsubscribed and will receive no further messages from this number."

After opting out, you will no longer receive SMS notifications. You may still receive service through other communication channels (email, phone calls) unless you opt out of those separately.

To opt back in: Text START or YES to our number, or contact your service provider to re-enable SMS notifications.

  • Used only for the purposes described in this policy
  • Never sold to third parties
  • Never shared with third parties for marketing or promotional purposes

8. Supported Carriers

SMS messages are supported on all major U.S. carriers including:

AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, Sprint, U.S. Cellular, and most regional carriers. Carriers are not responsible for delayed or undelivered messages.

9. Additional Terms

  • You must be 18 years or older to opt-in to SMS messaging
  • You must be the account holder or have authorization to use the mobile number
  • We reserve the right to modify this SMS program at any time
  • SMS messaging is available only within the United States
